How long does the class run?  

Our classes run similar to a school year with a performance at the end of our season in late May/early June.  Classes meet weekly, with the exception of scheduled breaks, holidays, and unplanned snow days. 

 

What is the cost of the class?

There is a yearly tuition that is broken down into nine installments for your convenience (September through May).  Tuition is due by the 1st of each month.  

 

What is due upon signing my child up?

The registration fee and your first tuition installment.

Do you have a late fee?

There is a $10 late fee applied to all accounts if payment is not received in full by the 10th of each month.  Additionally, in order to receive your child’s costume at the end of the year, all accounts must be paid in full.  

 

How long is each class?

Classes can run from 30-45 minutes, depending on the program.  Some classes for our Intensive Team are longer.

What if my child misses a class?  

Students should attend all classes, however, in the event of an absence, please contact the studio prior to your child’s class time.  If a class is missed for any reason, children can come in to a comparable class for a makeup class at your convenience.  

 

What should students wear to class?  

Tiny Tots: Pink leotard and pink tights.

Kidlets: Pink leotard and pink tights.

Tap: Black leotard and black/tan tights.   Black dance shorts are also permitted.

Jazz: Black leotard and black/tan tights.  Black dance shorts are also permitted.

Ballet: Black leotard and pink tights.  Black dance shorts or a ballet skirt is also permitted.

Acrobatics: Black leotard or unitard and black/tan footless tights.

Hip Hop: Black leotard and black dance shorts or black dance pants.

Lyrical: Black leotard and black/tan footless tights.  Black dance shorts are also permitted.

Musical Theatre: Black leotard and black/tan tights.  Black dance shorts are also permitted.

Cheer Dance: Black leotard and black dance shorts.

Contemporary: Black leotard and black footless tights.  Black dance shorts are also permitted.

 

What shoes are needed for each class?

How should my child wear their hair?

Female students should wear their hair in a ponytail or bun.  Students on our Intensive and Performance Teams must wear their hair in a bun.

What additional investments are involved?

  • Membership:  Choose from basic membership ($35 per student;  family cap of $50) or premium membership ($60 per student; family cap of $75).  Must be paid before the student enters class.   

  • Costume:  Prices range from $65 to $75 per costume (plus tax).  The price will depend on the program your child's class is in. This is due November 1st.

  • Performance Package:  Cost is $80-$160 depending on how many children in your family are dancing. Payment is broken up into 2 installments.  One due February 1 and one due April 1.  

 

Do you have a recital?

Our students work hard all year long for a chance to perform in the annual recital!  The recital is typically (not guaranteed) held the second weekend in June at Tonawanda High School, which is right down the road from our studio.  Prior to the recital, there is a mandatory rehearsal held for all students. Every student must be present at the rehearsal in order to perform in the show. 


Do I have to purchase tickets to the recital?

All tickets are sold online on a first come, first served basis.  Once online ticket sales are complete, tickets will be available for purchase at the studio.
