Tuition & Pricing
Tonawanda Dance Arts aims to make taking dance classes, and paying for them, as simple and easy as possible! When registering for classes at TDA, you can expect to have tuition payments, an annual membership fee, a costume fee and a performance package fee for our end of year recital. There are optional purchases throughout the season that we communicate with families, such as class photos, extra recital tickets and more. Check out our breakdown of all costs and fees below!

Class Tuition
Tuition is billed on the first of each month in 10 installments. All 30-minute classes are $55 per installment, and 45-minute classes are $67 per installment. Make up classes are available if your student misses a class, but are not mandatory.
*There is a 3% fee for all credit card charges. Tuition rates with credit card fees included are $56.65 per installment for 30-minute classes, or $65.01 per installment for 45-minute classes. We accept Visa, Discover and MasterCard. We also accept Independent Health and BCBS wellness cards.
Membership Fees
The TDA membership fee is a one-time annual cost that every family pays at the start of each season. Membership fees help the TDA team deliver the best experience possible for every student with opportunities and access to the details that make "the TDA difference", like private live-streamed classes, priority enrollment, make-up classes and more. The non-refundable annual membership fee is due upon enrollment and must be paid before students begin class. We offer two membership options to fit the needs of your family!

Costumes are an important part of dancing and performing! Costumes add to the magic of every routine, and help students shine with confidence on stage. Costume fees include:

Costume fees are determined by your student's program. Costume fees are non-refundable. Costumes fees are $99, and are processed on November 1.
There is a 3% fee for all credit card charges. Costume fees with credit card surcharges and tax included are $101.97.
Performance Fees
TDA performance fees help our staff ensure that every family has a chance to watch their student perform, and hold onto the memories of recital! Recital fees include:

Performance fees are charged in two installments. The first performance fee installment is charged on February 1, and the second on March 1. Recital fees for a family with one child are $139 total, or $69.50 per installment. Recital fees for a family with two children are $169 total, or $84.50 per installment. Recital fees for a family with three or more children are $199, or $99.50 per installment.
There is a 3% fee for all credit card charges. Performance fees with credit card surcharges and tax included are $143.17 for families with one child, $174.07 for families with two children or $204.97 for families with three or more children.
Optional Purchases
Tonawanda Dance Arts offers extra opportunities to participate and capture the fun of the dance season! Events and opportunities, such as class pictures or additional recital tickets, are optional for families to purchase.
Class pictures will be organized with an external vendor, and TDA will communicate to families before picture day! Additional recital ticket availability will also be communicated, and will have a tiered pricing system based on seat location.
