Tonawanda Dance Arts aims to make taking dance classes, and paying for them, as simple and easy as possible! When registering for classes at TDA, you can expect to have a tuition fee, membership fee, costume fees and additional optional fees (class photos, additional recital tickets and more). Tuition Pricing
Tuition is billed on the first of each month in 10 installments, aligned to the dance season from September - May. All 30-minute classes are $55 per installment, and 45-minute classes are $67 per installment. Please take note of all important tuition charge guidelines below.
Families that enroll before September 1 owe only their first installment fee and membership fee upon registration. Families that enroll after September 1 will owe their first two installments, plus the membership fee, upon registration.

There is a $15 late fee applied if payment is not received in full by the fifth of the month.

In order to receive your child’s costume and performance tickets at the end of the year, all accounts must be paid in full.

There is a one-month minimum for all classes. Tuition refunds are not given for a student that drops from a class mid-month. A thirty (30) day notice is required to withdraw from a class and discontinue payments.

Make-up classes are available in the event that a student misses a class, but are not mandatory.

All families must have a credit card on file and be enrolled in auto-pay. By enrolling and agreeing to these terms, you authorize Tonawanda Dance Arts to automatically charge the credit card on file for tuition payments due on the 1st of each month and for any outstanding balances, fees or other charges due under this agreement.

We accept Visa, Discover and MasterCard. We also accept Independent Health and BCBS wellness cards. There is a 3% fee for all credit card charges.
Membership Fees
The TDA membership fee is a one-time annual cost that all families pay each season that helps our team deliver the best experience possible for every student! These fees help us provide access to meaningful opportunities that make, "the TDA difference", like private live-streamed classes, priority enrollment, make-up classes and more. The non-refundable annual membership fee is due upon enrollment and must be paid before students begin class. We offer two membership options to fit the needs of your family!

Valid for current premium members in the 2026-2027 season. One gift certificate per family. Gift certificate expires December 31, 2026.

Costume Fees
Every student wants to shine on stage! Costume fees include the cost of the costume, one pair of socks and/or tights per student, headpieces, props and alterations.
Costume fees are determined by your student's program. Costume fees are non-refundable. Costumes fees are $99, and are processed on November 1.
Performance Fees
TDA performance fees help our staff ensure that every family has a chance to watch their student perform, and hold onto the memories of recital! Recital fees include a credit towards recital tickets, a recital shirt, a download of of performance and livestream access.
Performance fees are charged in two installments. The first performance fee installment is charged on February 1, and the second on March 1.
One-Child Family = $139 ($69.50 per installment)
Two-Child Family = $169 ($84.50 per installment)
Three + Child Family = $199 ($99.50 per installment)
Additional Fees
Tonawanda Dance Arts offers extra opportunities to participate and capture the fun of the dance season! Events and opportunities, such as class pictures or additional recital tickets, are completely optional for families to purchase, though most to. TDA will communicate any optional events and opportunities to families for you to make decisions before charging a card on file.
Sample Tuition & Fee Calendar
We want every family to feel confident registering for dance classes at Tonawanda Dance Arts! To help make our tuition and fees simpler to understand, we've created an example payment schedule based on a family that has one student enrolled in two 30-minute dance classes per week with a basic membership prior to September 1, excluding credit card fees. Your individual costs may vary based on student age, type of class, number of calsses and enrollment date.
