Tonawanda Dance Arts Academy Program
Academy program classes for ages 10+ at Tonawanda Dance Arts welcome both beginner and experienced students to grow their skills, while having the opportunity to explore new genres! With beginner, intermediate and advanced-level offerings for most genres, every student can find the right fit.

Tonawanda Dance Arts is a Tech-Enabled™ studio, giving parents and students the flexibility to participate in-person at our studio, or virtually as needed. Parents can live-stream their student’s dance class to watch live from anywhere! ​

Class Schedules and Tuition
The most common choice for families at Tonawanda Dance Arts is enrolling in two classes per week! TDA makes tuition, membership, costume and performance fees as simple and transparent as possible, and you can learn more about these fees here. All 45 minute classes in the Academy program are $67 per installment (credit card fees apply). All 30 minute classes in the Academy program are $55 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments, but we are happy to work with your family if you prefer to pay in fewer installments.
Ballet Classes for Ages 10+
Ballet is the basic foundation of all dance genres. Ballet develops discipline, technique, posture, placement and alignment that translates to any type of dance! Ballet classes are beneficial for any dancer, and highly recommended for every student. Ballet classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long and $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Female students in primary classes must wear a navy leotard, pink tights and pink canvas ballet shoes with hair pulled back into a bun. Female students in intermediate or advanced ballet classes must wear a black leotard, pink tights and pink canvas ballet shoes, with hair pulled back into a bun. Male students must wear a black T-shirt, black dance pants or athletic shorts and no tie black leather ballet shoes.
Tap Classes for Ages 10+
Tap dance classes introduce students to rhythm, musicality and a variety of steps. Tap dance classes progress with each year and become more challenging! Students learn to count music and focus on memorization of simple tap dance steps and combinations. Tap dance classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long, and tuition is $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Acro Classes for Ages 10+
​Acrobatics classes focus on tumbling, cartwheels, bridges and walkovers. Acrobatics develops flexibility, strength, balance, agility and coordination that benefit students in many other types dance classes! Acrobatics classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long, and tuition is $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Hip Hop Classes for Ages 10+
Hip Hop focuses on the freestyle form of dance that stems from the roots of jazz, but incorporates modern urban movements performed to current, age appropriate music. Hip Hop classes are great for students looking for high energy, athletic dance classes! Hip Hop classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long, and tuition is $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Cheer Dance is a form of cheerleading that blends sharp, precise dance movements with energetic music. These classes are perfect for current cheerleaders, or those who want to pursue cheerleading. Cheer Dance classes develop strength, discipline, body posture and stamina. Cheer Dance classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long, and tuition is $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Experience the magic of Broadway with the fun and energetic musical theater classes at Tonawanda Dance Arts! Students will develop stage presence and performance skills and learn fun combinations! Musical Theater classes in the Academy program are 45 minutes long, and tuition is $67 per installment. Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).

Tuition is charged in 10 installments and each installments are billed on the first of the month (your first installment is billed upon enrollment).
