Dancer Of The Month: December 2025

Welcome to our "Dancer of the Month" spotlight, a special space where we celebrate the unique talents, hard work, and vibrant personalities of our studio’s dancers! Each month, our teachers select one dancer from their classes who embodies the values of dedication, positivity, and a love for dance. From our smallest beginners to our advanced performers, these dancers light up the studio with their passion and inspire their classmates. This month, our teachers have shared a few words about each of these incredible students and why they chose them for this honor. Let’s dive into the stories behind these standout dancers and discover what makes each of them shine!

Vivianne Mecozzi

Vivianne was chosen by Miss Tammy. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Acro, Tap, and Ballet!

"Vivianne has been working so hard this season. She was moved up a level in acro and continues to excel at learning new skills. She comes to class ready to work with a smile on her face. I can't wait to see what this season has in store for her. Keep up the great work!" - Miss Tammy

Ayla Ackley

Ayla was chosen by Miss Sam. She is 2 years old and takes Boppin' Tots!

"Ayla has come so far since September. Starting the year very very shy to now showing off her personality more and more. Seeing her participate fully by herself without Mom each week makes me so proud. I'm so proud of you, Ayla!" - Miss Sam

Zoey DiGiacomo

Zoey was chosen by Miss Whitney. She is 12 years old and is on the Junior II Intensive Team!

"Zoey always comes into class happy and ready to work. She makes sure she reviews class videos before coming into the room and will always remember the new choreography we learned the week prior. Zoey's technique is improving so much and I'm so proud of the work she does inside and outside the classroom. Keep doing what you're doing Zoey. I'm so proud of you!!" - Miss Whitney

Eliana Maas

Eliana was chosen by Miss Miranda. She is 9 years old and is on the Junior I Intensive Team and Junior Acro Team!

"Eliana has been working so hard in jazz technique, always coming in with a hard working attitude and a smile on her face. She is determined and always listens to figure out how to improve and get better! Keep up the great work Eliana!" - Miss Miranda

Emma Augustyn

Emma was chosen by Miss Lauren. She is 12 years old and takes Academy Musical Theatre!

"Emma is one of our newest additions to Academy Musical Theater and she is such a joy! She came in and immediately brightened the room. She has an infectious positive attitude that can brighten anyone's day even at 8:15 at night! I am looking forward to continue to learn and grow with her! Keep being you, Emma! Athena Kennedy

Athena was chosen by Miss Ginger. She is 10 years old and takes Primary Ballet!

"Athena always shares her passion for ballet with me! It warms my ballerina heart. She continues to practice her steps and loves to show any progress she has made. Her dedication and strength will go very far and I can't wait to see her grow!" - Miss Ginger

Nalani Scott

Nalani was chosen by Miss Marissa. She is 3 years old and takes Boppin' Kids Ballet and Tumble!

"Nalani's energy for dance is infectious! She's so excited to come to dance and is always happy. Nalani is also a great listener. If you ask Nalani what her favorite dance step is, she'll always tell you "chasse!" Great job, Nalani!" - Miss Marissa

Sienna Rados

Sienna was chosen by Miss Brooke. She is 10 years old and takes Primary Tap and Primary/Intermediate Hip Hop!

"Sienna always comes into class with a smile! She pushes herself to try new things, and has such a positive attitude! I'm so impressed by Sienna's ability to decipher when it's time to be silly and time to focus! Way to be an incredible role model Sienna!" - Miss Brooke

Eleanora Whiting-Coletta

Eleanora was chosen by Miss Kayleen. She is 7 years old and is on the Tiny Acro Team!

"Eleanora has always been super strong when it comes to acro. This year is her first year on acro team and she is doing such an amazing job! She is fearless when it comes to trying new skills and continues to work hard every class. Great job, Eleanora!" - Miss Kayleen

Athena Carrasquillo

Athena was chosen by Miss Erin M. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Ballet and Tap!

"Athena is a true joy to have in class. Athena comes to class every week ready and excited to dance. Athena is the first to raise her hand and offer the correct definition of our ballet words in class. Athena puts her all into every step and shows a true love for dance." - Miss Erin M.

Cassidy Gadawski

Cassidy was chosen by Miss Erin G. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Ballet, Acro, and Tap, and is on the TDA Showcase Team!

"Cassidy greets me at the door for class with a welcoming smile and it's truly a joy! She's focused and eager to learn new things. Cassidy sets a great example of when it's time to relax and have fun, and then turn on focus mode! She is often the first to offer a demonstration of a new step the class has learned in previous weeks and does it with great confidence. Cassidy shows kindness to all of her fellow classmates at all times." - Miss Erin G.

Ella Gallo

Ella was chosen by Miss Shannon. She is 5 years old and is on the Tiny Intensive Team!

"Ella has made so much progress! She is so happy to come to ballet class and learn! She has started to work independently and has made a ton of new friends. I am so happy to see her bright, shining face, big smile and hear her infectious laughter! Congrats, Ella!" - Miss Shannon

Piper Robey

Piper was chosen by Miss Grace. She is 11 years old and is on the Junior I Intensive Team and Mini Acro Team!

"Piper shows up to class every week ready to learn and grow as a dancer. She is not only a hard worker, but she is a great friend to all and extremely kind. Seeing Piper's confidence shine through within this first half of the dance season has been so wonderful." - Miss Grace

Leelah Smith

Leelah was chosen by Mr Nathan. She is 11 years old and is on the Junior I Intensive Team and Junior Acro Team!

"Leelah always has a fun positive energy and is prepared to tap dance! I appreciate her friendliness and positivity in the classroom. Keep up the great work, Leelah!" - Mr Nathan

Rheia Meldrum

Rheia was chosen by Miss Ashlyn. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Hip Hop and Tap!

"Rheia walks into our classroom, ready to learn and have fun! She is always kind, respectful and courteous to her classmates and teachers. Rheia brings a big bright smile to class, is ready to learn and groove, and always puts forward her very best effort. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a joy to teach. Olivia Joseph

Olivia was chosen by Miss Thea. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Cheer!
