Dancer Of The Month: February 2026

Welcome to our "Dancer of the Month" spotlight, a special space where we celebrate the unique talents, hard work, and vibrant personalities of our studio’s dancers! Each month, our teachers select one dancer from their classes who embodies the values of dedication, positivity, and a love for dance. From our smallest beginners to our advanced performers, these dancers light up the studio with their passion and inspire their classmates. This month, our teachers have shared a few words about each of these incredible students and why they chose them for this honor. Let’s dive into the stories behind these standout dancers and discover what makes each of them shine!

Nina Thomasula

Nina was chosen by Miss Tammy. She is 12 years old and takes Primary Acro!

"Nina has been working so hard in Acro this season. She started her Acro journey a little later then most, but continues to push herself to get all of her skills. She is determined and never gives up. Nina brings such a positive energy to the classroom, and is always eager to tell me when a student says hi from outside of the studio. It has been a joy watching her grow this year. Keep up the great work Nina!" - Miss Tammy

Caroline & Lucy Parisi

Caroline & Lucy were chosen by Miss Sam. They are 6 years old and are on the Tiny Intensive Team!

"Caroline and Lucy are growing each week. They come in with smiles on their faces and always trying to make me laugh. You can tell Caroline and Lucy practice non-stop at home making sure they come each week knowing the class material. I have really loved watching them challenge themselves with joining the Tiny Team. I am so proud of you both, Caroline and Lucy!" - Miss Sam

Kaitlyn Hale

Kaitlyn was chosen by Miss Whitney. She is 17 years old and on the Senior Intensive Team!

"Kaitlyn is one of the hardest workers in every class! When she is determined to get a skill she doesn't stop until it's up to her standards and pushes herself to be better in every class she takes. Her passion for dance and being the best she can be is so beautiful to witness! I am so proud of the dancer and person she is becoming, she is such a pleasure to teach and such a great teammate. Dream so big, Kaitlyn!" - Miss Whitney

Allison Szewczyk

Allison was chosen by Miss Miranda. She is 11 years old and is on the Junior II Intensive Team and Teen/Senior Acro Team!

"Allison has been working so hard all season on many different goals in and out of the classroom. I love watching her push herself to try new things! In addition to her progress in dance, I've also enjoyed working on some personal development topics with Allison! So proud of you!" - Miss Miranda

Stella Syracuse

Stella was chosen by Miss Lauren. She is 5 years old and takes Kidance Ballet and Tap!

"Stella always comes to Ballet class prepared and ready to go with a huge smile on her face! Her energy is infectious and she is always respectful to me and her classmates. She has such a love for dance and is always so excited to learn! She always makes sure to say hi and bye to me and give me a hug! Keep working hard, Stella... Brynne Roalsvig

Brynne was chosen by Miss Ginger. She is 13 years old and is on the Teen Intensive Team!

"Brynne has shown a tremendous amount of discipline, hard work and passion in her ballet training. I truly see the mental dedication and drive to improve in her technique, but I also see the deep love in her heart that makes her hard work so effortless. Brynne, I am so proud of the hard work you have put in and I love helping you! Keep it up!" - Miss Ginger

Nora Carlisle

Nora was chosen by Miss Marissa. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Tap!

"Nora is a hard worker and a great listener. She comes to class prepared and ready to work! She always applies the corrections I give the class. I can always count on Nora for knowing the dance and telling me what the next step is! Nora is also always kind and friendly. Keep up the good work, Nora!" - Miss Marissa

Pearl Sylvester

Pearl was chosen by Miss Brooke. She is 3 years old and takes Boppin' Kids Ballet and Tumble!

"Pearl is such a hard worker! She's so smiley when she comes to dance, and she always tries her best! She is a role model of being a kind friend and a great listener in our classroom. When we're working on new steps, Pearl tries her best! Keep up the great work Pearl!!" - Miss Brooke

Brenna Caffrey

Brenna was chosen by Miss Erin M. She is 9 years old and takes Kids-In-Motion Acro, Cheer Dance and Jazz!

"Brenna is growing every week as a dancer. She tries her absolute hardest with a smile on her face. Brenna brings so much energy and excitement to learn something new. She has been such a blast to have in class, even if her love of snakes terrifies Miss Erin!" - Miss Erin M.

Isabella Monello

Isabella was chosen by Miss Erin G. She is 4 years old and takes Boppin' Kids Ballet!

"Isabella has been consistently growing each week in Ballet. She comes into class ready to listen and eager to learn new things. Isabella has done an excellent job at remembering her ballet terminology as well. She's been a fun & helpful assistant to Miss Erin G during class warmup time. I'm so proud of your growth so far this year!" - Miss Erin G.

Maya Selover

Maya was chosen by Miss Shannon. She is 8 years old and is on the Petite Intensive Team and Mini Acro Team!

"Maya is always early to class, ready to work and has all the correct answers. She knows her Ballet vocab and definitions and is happy to share with a smile on her face. Maya has come so far in her technique. Maya is a joy and shares her affection of Ballet with everyone!" - Miss Shannon

Brynn Galley

Brynn was chosen by Miss Grace. She is 10 years old and is on the Junior I Intensive Team and Junior Acro Team!

"Brynn welcomes me every class with a big hug and smile on her face ready to learn. She has done a great job at staying focused in class and applying corrections. I am so proud of all the growth she has made this season!" - Miss Grace

Olivia Bruno

Olivia was chosen by Mr Nathan. She is 10 years old and is on the Junior I Intensive Team and Junior Acro Team!

"I love Olivia's energy and excitement to be in the classroom. She is a dedicated student who is constantly paying attention and pushing herself to be better. She has a healthy balance of being polite while also knowing how to have a lot of fun! She has been a joy to have in class." - Mr Nathan

Miriam (Midge) DeBlasi

Midge was chosen by Miss Ashlyn. She is 3 years old and takes Boppin' Kids Ballet and Tumble!

"Midge comes into Ballet class every week with a big smile, and so much excitement! She is a great friend to everyone in our classroom, and loves learning new things! Midge always tries her hardest, and is growing every week as a dancer and friend! I have loved watching Midge dance and grow throughout the dance season. Lyla Winiarski

Lyla was chosen by Miss Thea. She is 6 years old and takes Kidance Acro and Cheer!
