MTJGD Culture Student; 2022-2023 Season

This 2022-2023 Dance Season, each one of our TDA Teachers nominated one dancer for the 'More Than Just Great Dancing' Award.

"Our nominees were chosen as they exude the following More Than Just Great Dancing values: Teamwork, Dependability, Integrity, Leadership. We want to recognize these qualities and continue to encourage our nominees and all of our students to continue to exhibit them in all aspects of their lives. All of our nominees have shown their instructors and others at TDA that they exhibit these qualities whenever they walk through the doors at TDA. Grace Stimson

Grace is 14 years old, she loves the color blue and her favorite food is steak! Out of all the genres she dances, Grace enjoys Lyrical and Dance the most. She loves seeing her dance friends while in the classroom. When Grace grows up, she hopes to be a teacher. This year, Grace was the winner of Tonawanda Dance Arts 'More Just Great Dancing' Award, chosen by our teachers.

Eden Watts

Eden is 2 years old and loves mac and cheese and french fries! Eden enjoys playing "Doctor Office", Barbies in her doll house, and princess in her castle tent. She loves the color blue, and her favorite book is "Eden's and the Magic Shoes". Eden's favorite part of dance class is being with her friends and when she grows up, she wants to be a Queen like Elsa!

Kiera Castro

Kiera is 8 years old and her favorite book is "Owl Diaries". Kiera enjoys drawing, traveling and dance, especially Acro. Her favorite food is mac and cheese and when she grows up she wants to be a teacher. Keira's favorite part of dance class is all time spent with her teachers and friends. Keira loves watching the Buffalo Bills, being a big sister to her brother, and spending time with her dog Steele.

Quinn Gleason

Quinn is 3 years old and her favorite styles of dance are Acro and Ballet. Her favorite part of class is somersaults and her favorite color is purple. Quinn loves macaroni and cheese, goldfish, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing with dolls, reading books, singing and dancing. Her favorite book is "The Napping House" and when she grows up she wants to be a dentist.

Sophie Stimson

Sophie 11 years old and loves Tortellini! Her favorite color is purple and she enjoys dance, piano, and flute. Sophie's favorite styles of dance are tap and lyrical and she thinks the best part of class is learning new things. Her favorite books are the "Harry Potter" series and when she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian.

Aubrey Meister

Aubrey is 12 years old and her favorite color is red. She loves pasta, dance, reading, spending time with family and friends, going on vacations. Aubrey's favorite book is 'When You Trap A Tiger', and when she grows up she hopes to own a Doggy Daycare. Aubrey loves Jazz and her favorite part of dance is learning multiple dances each year to perform at competitions and having the opportunity to attend multiple dance conventions. She loves listening to all types of music, especially Billie Eillish.

Gabriella Bronson

Gabriella is 6 years old and loves Taco and Pizza! Some of her favorite things are dancing, going to the beach and cuddling my family. She loves purple, ballet and wants to be a pilot when she grows up! Gabriella's favorite book is ‘Goodnight Little Gabriella’. She loves showing the other classes her dances, and dancing makes her happy!

Lilly Gadawski

Lilly is 9 years old and has been dancing since she was 2! Her favorite food is broccoli and her favorite book is 'Woof' by Spencer Quinn. Lilly loves dance, arts, plants, swimming, camping, Pokemon, and playing with her sister and dog. Lilly loves practicing her dances for other classes and when she grows up she hopes to be a dancer or a dance teacher.

Avery Buckfelder

Avery is 9 years old and enjoys dance, squishmallows, and drawing. Her favorite food is Chicken Nuggets and her favorite book is 'Smile'. Avery loves tap, especially learning new steps and choreography. When she grows up, she wants to be 'an animator'.

Grace Wing

Grace is 8 years old and her favorite color is black. She enjoys art and dance, especially Hip Hop. Grace's loves being creative, using her body and getting stronger, and aspires to be a dance teacher when she is older! Her favorite book series is "The Babysitter Club" and she really loves french fries.

Keira Zaccarine

Keira 6 years old and she loves to tackle my sister and jump in a pool. Her favorite book is 'Cooking With The Grinch' and favorite food is Burgers. When she grows up she wants to be a Principal. Keira is smart, creative and loves her tap class, especially doing routines.
